Getting people together to do good things

Help us with health & safety

Here at #wewillgather , we think that you should be able to get on with making where you live into a better place. All the Good Things people start and our website helps are about that. And of course, the way that worked in #riotcleanup was how we came to start this whole thing.

But, we hear you call, what about Health & Safety?

Well, whether you start a Good Thing or take part in one of the actions someone else has started, we want you to be safe. But we also think you’re grown up enough to be trusted to get on with it. On a recent visit to Rotterdam, Dan noticed that there were roadworks without big fences; the assumption was, people could look after themselves and not fall down big holes.

So I want to develop a real, practical, honest and simple set of pdfs that will make sure you can do the Good Things you want, but safely.

Write it!

We’d love to have your help with our practical Be Safe guides. If you have experience of risk assessments, health and safety, public events or community organising and would like to help us, please get in touch with dan@wewillgather.co.uk

So we don’t mind you using the Be Safe stuff we’ve written on #wewillgather, as long as you acknowledge it. Please send links to info@wewillgather.co.uk and we’ll probably be rather chuffed and tell our friends.
